The ongoing trend of global market development for electronic products is to become smaller, faster and smarter. You often want to serve several product groups with one electronic component. Therefore, it is important to understand the requirements of the individual target markets and be able to implement them.
It doesn’t matter whether it’s a household appliance, a charging station in the garage or a tool for work: all of these contain electrical components and must go through the product compliance process to be successfully placed on the market.
EMC plays a very important role here. The use of the device must not interfere with radio waves. Mains feedback must also be reduced to a minimum. It is therefore important to understand and incorporate these measures early on in the design phase.
Thanks to my experience in the field of consumer electronics, I can tell you the requirements in advance and thus eliminate unwanted improvements after series production or even product recalls.
